Mani of the Week: Pastel Ombre Nails
Created by: @karengnails

Let's face it. Everyone loves flowers. (Tell me you're not just a smidge happier the minute you stumble across a gorgeous bouquet on your Insta feed.) And right now, our flower obsession is in full bloom, thanks to the ephemeral peony season that's upon up. That's just one reason why we're enchanted with Karen Gutierrez's (aka @karengnails) peony-inspired ombre nail design.

These gorgeous cotton-candy-colored nails let you channel your inner flower child without spending hours trying to hand-draw a petal or 12. And the good news? Ombre nails are incredibly easy to recreate. Just grab your favorite pastel polishes and follow this easy step-by-step tutorial for a dreamy summer manicure.

Mani of the Week: Striking Summer Nails

Do you ever stumble across a nail design and think to yourself, "I need that on my nails RN?" Yeah, we totally feel you. Often times, the nail art we swoon over plays on the details, so we couldn't help but gawk when this gorgeous nail design created by @xlight_nails came across our feed.

The cheery white and yellow sunflower design pops against a neutral gray polish (Zoya Nail Polish, $10, in Dove). We love that the floral design (easily achieved using this nail stamp, $4.99) is only on two accent nails to keep the overall look subdued. Less really is more, ladies.

Mani of the Week: Fourth of July Nails
Created by: @paintboxnails

Why we love it: The holidays are pretty much the be-all, end-all excuse for rocking crazy nail art, and with Fourth of July around the corner, our feed has been flooded with kitschy star and stripe nails. While we love cheesy holiday nail art as much as the next person (because who doesn't like being a little extra), this year we're taking the less is more approach, with this simple nail art by Paintbox. The clean-cut nail design honors the Fourth of July with its patriotic colors and is pretty much fail-proof with its minimalistic design. Lord knows crafting stars is a whole other ball game. Our country might feel a little bit chaotic right now, but our nail art certainly doesn't have to be.

To get the look: Try Essie Nail Polish, $8.50, in Hiking Heels and Mezmerised.

Mani of the Week: Graphic Black and White Nails
Created by: @jessicawashick

Why we love it: Just like our little black dress, these modern black and white nails are always in style with their striking contrast and dainty design.

To get the look: Use Color Club Nail Lacquer ,$8.50, in Smoke Screen and Blank Canvas.

Mani of the Week: Neutral Nails
Created by: @gopolished

Why we love it: The use of neutral colors, and a mix of light and dark, makes these geometric nails worthy of the MoMA.

To get the look: Use Essie Nail Polish,$9, in Exposed, Clothing Optional, Winning Streak, and Mooning.

Nail art is one of those photogenic beauty trends that we could look at all day long. Somehow, scrolling through photos of nail art designs whipped up by nail art icons like Deborah Lippmann, Jin Soon and Paintbox is simply addictive — whether we plan to execute the nail design ideas or not.
