Mani of the Week: Fashion Nails
Created by: @ninanailedit

If there's one rule for trendsetters, it's that one must be fearless with their fashion -- and in this case nail art -- to make a statement. This bold nail design created by Nina Park (aka @ninanailedit), incorporates complementary pastel polishes and daring painterly strokes to produce versatile spring nails that go with just about any getup you rock this season.

To create the Monet-like nails, Park used Essie Nail Polish in Excuse Me, Sur, Smith & Cult Nail Lacquer in Bitter Buddhist, NCLA Nail Lacquer in Take a Dip, Dollar Nail Art Gold Foil and swiped on Sophi by Piggy Paint Shine Topcoat to lock it all in. While these fashion nails could've easily looked like a disheveled (and unintentional) mess, Park added structure to the watercolor nail design with striking metallic gold accents and uniform black dots.

Mani of the Week: Tangerine Dreams

While spring nails traditionally feature creamy pastels, this season, bright neon polishes are also taking center stage. One of our favorite hues: electric orange. It's the lively jolt of color we need to pull us out of these winter-just-won't-die, dreary-weather doldrums. Case in point? These stunning spring nails created by celebrity manicurist and founder of Jin Soon Nail Polish, Jin Soon Choi. To create the striking color-blocking nail art, Choi used Jin Soon Nail Polish in Grace and Hope. The vibrant tangerine orange creates a gorgeous contrast against the hazy gray, and inspires hope that sunnier days are in fact ahead.

Mani of the Week: Geode Nails
Created by: @sprinklenails

If you spend your weekends hunting for precious stones on the beach or clinging to your healing crystals, then we found your perfect nail art. Gorgeous geode nails are one of this season's hottest nail art trends. Despite their frequent appearance on our Instagram feed, when we came across these stunning geode nails created by SprinkleNails, we couldn't help but swoon.

As gorgeous as geode nails are, it is very easy for the nail trend to come off as hippie-ish or childish -- heralding flashbacks to our sand art days. Not the case here. SprinkleNails shows off her mastery with a design that reminds us less of our kindergarten-crafting days and more of pretty, polished agate.

To get the look, she used LondonTown Nail Lacquer in Earl Grey, Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Polish in Lacey Lilac and Babe Blue. Dying to recreate the look but need a little help? See the full tutorial here.

Mani of the Week: Marble Nails
Created by: @so_nailicious

We interrupt this season of pastel nail art to bring you these hypnotic black and white nails, designed by Maria Vlezko (aka @so_nailicious).

We love marble nails because they're unpredictable -- I mean, do you ever really know how they're going to turn out? And that same sort of whimsical air carries over into the paint-spattered nail design.

To create the look, Vlezko used Dior Vernis Long-Wearing Nail Lacquer in Black Out and Mavala Cream Colors Nail Polish in 49 White. To keep her manicure intact, she applied Caption Base Coat beforehand and finished with Essie Good to Go Top Coat.

Mani of the Week: Rainbow Marble Nails
Created by: @stephstonenails

If there's one thing we love about spring, it's the vibrant nail polish colors that come out to play. When warm weather hits, we trade in our somber, muted winter palette of burgundies, grays and navy blues for eye-popping corals, bright yellows and in-your-face neon hues.

This spring we're all about making the most of this cocktail of colors, especially when it comes to implementing the year's hottest nail trends. Steph Stone created these rainbow nails, which capture the essence of sunny days with their vivid color and beach-y, sand-swirl-like water marble design. Plus, this vivid nail art lets play with all of our favorite spring and summer shades. (And, it doesn't hurt to get a few mani ideas for pride month next month.) So go ahead, dig up your go-to warm-weather polishes and channel your inner-Lisa Frank. If you need help with the design, check out this water marble nail how-to.

Nail art is one of those photogenic beauty trends that we could look at all day long. Somehow, scrolling through photos of nail art designs whipped up by nail art icons like Deborah Lippmann, Jin Soon and Paintbox is simply addictive — whether we plan to execute the nail design ideas or not.

That's why we're bringing you our #ManicureMonday series — where we show you the simple nail art, endless nail design ideas and other ridiculously pretty nails that we're finding and loving.
