Cassmariebeauty created this swoon-worthy nail art using Oribe The Lacquer High Shine Nail Polish, in The Nude and The Violet. Her inspiration for these lavish purple nails? Flocked wallpaper. For those who don't speak interior design, that's the plush, velvet-patterned wallpaper that was once reserved for homes of the wealthy. Cassmariebeauty plays on the intricate design with whimsical curvy lines and creamy, rich hues that feel 100 percent luxurious. Consider us obsessed.

We struck gold this week when we stumbled across this pretty pink and gold nail design created by celebrity nail stylist, Karen Gutierrez. Moody mauve gets electrified with a flash of brilliant gold polish in this study of dark and light.

To recreate Gutierrez's dusty pink and gold nails, apply two coats of Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in. Modern Love. Once dry, apply two pieces of striping tape, starting on the side of the nail, and tape toward the base of the nail to create the perfect V. Fill in the V with Ella + Mila Nail Polish in Gilded, and carefully remove the tape while the polish is still wet. Lock in your nail design with one coat of Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat, and be on your merry way.

Celebrity nail artist Simcha Whitehill, aka Miss Pop, made headlines last week when she officially announced her title as the CND Creative Ambassador. If you're not familiar with the nail artist's work, Miss Pop creates modern and chic nail art -- from minimalist designs to colorful, graphic ones -- and they always make big statements. Case in point: These '80s-inspired, colorful nails, which she created in celebration of her new partnership. Miss Pop used CND Vinylux Weekly Nail Polish, in Pink Leggings, Banana Clips, Blue Eyeshadow, Video Violet and Black Pool.
