We're head over heels for these smoking-hot nails designed by paintboxnails as part of their new summer collection, Hot Lines. Confession time: When it comes to nail art, we usually play it safe with subdued and understated designs. But every now and then, it's fun to break out of our comfort zone with something totally cool and edgy, like these nails designed by Jessica Washick @jessicawashick, using a rainbow of colors from NCLA, Deborah Lippmann, Lauren B Beauty, Londontown and Wet n Wild. The raucous, "Gossip Girl"-inspired manicure couldn't be better timed, as rumors swirl of a show reunion.

Statement-making? For sure. Impossible to pull off? No way. If Zooey Deschanel can rock crazy-cool nail art on the red carpet, there's no reason we can't wear it in everyday life. Besides, it's fun to keep people guessing. We can always go back to wearing our signature nude tomorrow.
