Mani of the Week: Simple Nail Art
Created by: @formulaxnail

It's springtime, which means our manicure feed is blooming florals and pastel colors all over the place. While we appreciate the feminine nail art, we're doing a little "spring cleaning" and keeping it simple with this week's chic nail design.

This easy nail art was designed by formulaxnail, in High Frequency and Delightful. The soft white and blue hues still channel our inner spring fever, while looking oh-so-fresh and clean. So, if you're looking to make a big statement with your spring nail art in a minimalist way, as formulaxnails puts it, "this is the perfect lineup."

If you're aspiring to be the next nail art queen, then you've got to rock trendsetter nails like this gorgeous negative space manicure by joymanicure at Olive & June nail salon in Los Angeles.

While everyone else is showing off their spring pinks and florals, you'll stand out and be in season with these simple periwinkle blue nails (CND Shellac in Creekside) that are both delicate and badass. The zigzag accent nails give serious edge to these superchic nails that feel clean and unfussy.

Festival hair? Check. Killer boho-chic outfit? Check. Tribal-inspired nail art? You've got it. We can't wait to hit the fields of our favorite music festivals debuting this gorgeous black and white manicure posted by evelina. Pair the artistic nail design with your haute hippie accessories and you'll have everyone taking notes for their look. And you don't have to be heading to the desert to wear these festival nails; this nail design looks gorgeous no matter where you flaunt them.

Mani of the Week: Cute Springtime Nails

Much like the yellow crocuses now popping out of the ground, this jaunty and fresh nail design is all you need for uplifting you on rainy, spring days. These vibrant polka dot nails were created with ZoyaNailPolish in Pippa and Avery, and are clearing away all our rainy day doldrums, because it's hard to feel sad when you've got a little sunshine at your fingertips. Flower-picking anyone?

Mani of the Week: Purple Nails
Created by: @so_nailicious

OK, so lavender hair is definitely a thing RN, but this week our nail art is all about complementing the fun and edgy hair trend with these ultra glossy purple nails. This chic manicure was created by so_nailicious, using Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Sunrise Trip, and was inspired by the devastating loss of rock legend, Prince. (She posted this nail art just a day after the announcement). Either way, we're digging the brilliant geometric nail design and flashy purple polish. It captures the spirit of Prince (and our inner badass) perfectly.

Nail art is one of those photogenic beauty trends that we could look at all day long. Somehow, scrolling through photos of nail art designs whipped up by nail art icons like Deborah Lippmann, Jin Soon and Paintbox is simply addictive — whether we plan to execute the nail design ideas or not.

That's why we're bringing you our #ManicureMonday series — where we show you the simple nail art, endless nail design ideas and other ridiculously pretty nails that we're finding and loving.
