Mani of the Week: Colorful Nails
Created by: @sally_hansen

Remember how much you loved art class as a kid? Just because we're all grown up doesn't mean we have to put our paintbrushes away -- especially not for this geometric nail art using our childhood favorites: primary colors.

These colorful nails were created by Sally Hansen using Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Red Eye, Tidal Wave and Gigabryte. You may not be able to hang this nail art on your fridge, but wearing this cheery pop of color on your digits is so much better.

We're having serious nail envy over this chic nail design by palemoonseattle. To create this gorgeous manicure, she used Smith & Cult Nailed Lacquer in Regret the Moon, No Poem and Filth Noir. These geometric nails use lines and negative space to create a design that reminds us of our favorite contemporary art.

No need for threads to make a serious fashion statement -- all you need is this white-hot manicure.

Coming off of St. Patrick's Day, we thought it only fitting to conjure up some magical nail art this week in the form of these seriously stunning rainbow nails, set on a starry backdrop. This colorful nail design was created by nail art genius Steph Stone, stephstonenails, an LA-based nail stylist who now has us all on the hunt for a unicorn to ride around while debuting our fantastical galaxy nails. Taste the rainbow? Nah. Paint the rainbow.

Mani of the Week: Simple Nail Art
Created by: @formulaxnail

It's springtime, which means our manicure feed is blooming florals and pastel colors all over the place. While we appreciate the feminine nail art, we're doing a little "spring cleaning" and keeping it simple with this week's chic nail design.

This easy nail art was designed by formulaxnail, in High Frequency and Delightful. The soft white and blue hues still channel our inner spring fever, while looking oh-so-fresh and clean. So, if you're looking to make a big statement with your spring nail art in a minimalist way, as formulaxnails puts it, "this is the perfect lineup."

If you're aspiring to be the next nail art queen, then you've got to rock trendsetter nails like this gorgeous negative space manicure by joymanicure at Olive & June nail salon in Los Angeles.

While everyone else is showing off their spring pinks and florals, you'll stand out and be in season with these simple periwinkle blue nails (CND Shellac in Creekside) that are both delicate and badass. The zigzag accent nails give serious edge to these superchic nails that feel clean and unfussy.

Nail art is one of those photogenic beauty trends that we could look at all day long. Somehow, scrolling through photos of nail art designs whipped up by nail art icons like Deborah Lippmann, Jin Soon and Paintbox is simply addictive — whether we plan to execute the nail design ideas or not.

That's why we're bringing you our #ManicureMonday series — where we show you the simple nail art, endless nail design ideas and other ridiculously pretty nails that we're finding and loving.
