Stunning nail art ideas — from easy DIY to crazy design ideas — one week at a time

Mani of the Week: Pretty Polka Dots
Created by: @gopolished

Why we love it: This mani is anything but spotty. Springy ultralight lavender paired with smoky, wintery gray is a fun and chic pairing that contrasts the two seasons. The alternating colors and number of dots keep it carefree and simple to paint. The quick-dry polish means you can paint and go without the wait.

To get the look: Use Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Nail Color ,$4.99, in Grease Lightning and Heather Hustle.

Mani of the Week: Bright Blooms

Why we love it: Vibrant red poppies on a nude canvas are a bright, cheery nod to spring. They're airy, delicate, easy to DIY and look effortlessly chic.

To get the look: Use Lauren B. Beauty Nail Couture ,$18, in PCH and Laurel Canyon Lover.

Mani of the Week: Movember Manicure
Created by: @melcisme

For this week's nail art design, we're getting in on the Movember action with this adorable mustache manicure (because tossing out our razors for No-Shave November wasn't really an option we'd consider). Nail artist melcisme used China Glaze Nail Lacquer with Hardeners in Change Your Attitude and White on White to create this dapper design. If facial hair isn't really your thing (and we suspect it's not for most women), you can still give men's health a nod with this jaunty gray and white nail art idea.

Mani of the Week: Latte-Inspired Nail Art
Created by: @fashnfitlife

With fall slowly fading into winter, we know you're holding onto your autumn mindset until the very last second, even if department stores are already playing Christmas songs (damn it, Santa -- this is not your moment). Determined to hold onto our pumpkin spice lattes a little longer, we're plucking fall nail art inspiration from our coffee cups (red or otherwise). This neutral, minimalist design was created by fashnfitlife, using Jenna Hipp Nail Polish in Life Is But A Cream and Ooh La Latte. The result: A simple nail art design that warms up the fingertips almost as much as our favorite seasonal beverages do.

Mani of the Week: Starry Winter Nails
Created by: @hannahroxit

You officially have our permission to debut festive winter nails, and we're absolutely in love with this look by hannahroxit. To create what we're calling a midnight winter wonderland design, she paired OPI Nail Lacquer in Umpires Come Out At Night with Inglot 02M Breathable Nail Enamel in Dream 201. It's a dazzling way to embrace the holiday spirit without being over the top (aka, no reindeers needed).

Nail art is one of those photogenic beauty trends that we could look at all day long. Somehow, scrolling through photos of nail art designs whipped up by nail art icons like Deborah Lippmann, Jin Soon and Paintbox is simply addictive — whether we plan to execute the nail design ideas or not.

That's why we're bringing you our #ManicureMonday series — where we show you the simple nail art, endless nail design ideas and other ridiculously pretty nails that we're finding and loving.
