Best Lip Oil for Long-Lasting Hydration
Missha Essential Lip Oil in Honey, $12, looks, feels and smells like you should be squeezing it out of a plastic bear. It's made with avocado oil and honey extract, the latter of which may account for why it seems to stick to lips for hours on end. We're even bigger fans of the rose-tinted Berry, which tastes like raspberry bubble gum and provides the perfect popsicle-stain flush of color.

Best Lip Oil for Long-Lasting Color
Lip oil tints feel amazing and give great, subtle color, but the pigment's usually gone by the time you've polished off a can of La Croix. The tint in Milk Makeup Oil Lip Stain, $18, sticks around through eating and drinking, and moisturizes with black currant oil, olive oil and vitamin E. We love the shade Feelz, a punchy color that wakes up any complexion, and the rollerball applicator -- it gives us serious Lip Smacker Lip Gloss vibes.

Best Barely There Lip Oil
The addictive quality of Yes to Miracle Oil Primrose Lip Oil is probably due to its gorgeous fragrance -- like an expensive rose perfume, which is pretty impressive when you consider this product costs just $5. The oil's pale-pink tint boosts lips' natural color without looking like makeup, and ingredients like evening primrose oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and castor seed oil give the product a lush, emollient texture. But TBH, that incredible scent is why we're going to hoard a tube in every handbag.

Best High-End Tinted Lip Oil
There's not a whole lot about our high-school makeup routine that makes us nostalgic, but we've still got a thing for Lancome Juicy Tubes. So color us surprised when we found a tinted gloss that we love even more than Juicy Tubes: Lancome Juicy Shaker Pigment Infused Bi-Phased Lip Oil, $22. The oil's fat, cone-shaped cushion applicator means you can apply it in a flash, and there are 25 lovely shades to try -- each with its own, irresistible flavor. We haven't found one we don't lick -- er, like.

Best Anti-Aging Lip Oil
Hourglass No. 28 Lip Treatment Oil, $42, glides on like a thick gel, without any stickiness. The hydrating formula is dispensed via an antibacterial 24-karat-gold-plated tip that delivers an immediate cooling sensation. The ingredient list contains all sorts of anti-aging miracle workers: 14 antioxidant-laden essential oils (bois de rose, lavender, rosemary, vanilla, orange, ylang ylang and rose geranium among them); ten lipid-rich plant oils (hazelnut, kukui nut, rose hip, borage, olive, green tea, cherry pit, sweet almond, jojoba and evening primrose); four vitamins (A, B5, C and E); plus three active ingredients that plump lips, reduce wrinkles and boost moisture levels by up to 6,000 percent.
