Melissa Dwyer, Fekkai colorist, shares her observations on hair color trends for this year: "Last year around this time reddish tones were a big hit with our clients. You can easily keep the look soft and subtle, or rich and bold while still falling in the same category — an easy color to fall in love with!" —Melissa shares, continuing with some maintenance tips for this tender color: "Depending on the level of richness, the maintenance is a little different. If you choose the softer hues, you can stretch it out for up to 5-6 weeks, while the richer color might need a little more attention by week 4." In the meantime, extend the color vibrancy by going for a color-preserving shampoo and conditioner.
