If I look for anything in an eyeliner pencil, it's a long lifespan. Eyeliner pencils are amazing for blending colors, adding definition to the eyes and creating a smoky eye look. However, in my experience that smoky eye quickly turns into a smudgy, I-look-like-I-just-woke-up eye. Which is no bueno when I need it to get me through the workday or a shot-filled evening out. Even though I have a dozen concealers in my makeup stash, I reach for this one almost every morning. It rolls on easily with a nice cooling sensation, the coverage is just enough, it never gets cakey or creased, and it has plenty of brightening light-reflective particles for instant glowy gratification. While it's on the sheerer side, I've used it to successfully cover a breakout in a pinch. A tube also seems to last forever — I probably should've tossed mine months ago (oops). — Dawn Davis
