It may not sound romantic, but a farmer's market can actually make for a decent date idea -- think about it, you'll be outside in the fresh hair, and you'll be surrounded by good food. Plus, if you're lucky, your farmer's market may even have its own live music.

It's always fun to do something active, and heading out to your nearest body of water makes for a nice change of pace. Stand-up paddle-boarding is a great core workout, while a kayak ride could be very relaxing. Things like surfing and jet skiing are great for thrill-seeking couples, while a nice turn around the lake in a kitschy pedal boat could be a romantic way to spend time together.

Do you love food? A cooking class date might just be in order. Cooking classes are surprisingly fun, and as a bonus, you'll get to learn some new skills (and eat some good food) along the way. Retro arcades are becoming cool again --- and, come on, who doesn't have a soft spot in their hearts for classic arcade games (Skee-Ball, anyone)?
