If Your Favorite Wine Is Sauvignon Blanc
You'll love: Diptyque Vetyverio Eau de Parfum, $155 (2.5 oz.) Buy Now

Why: New Zealand sauvignon blancs are known for their grassy quality as well as their "grapefruit skin" and "yellow citrus" aromas, says Copeland. That's why sauvignon blanc fans will fall for citrusy-green Vetyverio. It opens with light grapefruit, lemon and mandarin notes and dries down to a heady blend of cedar, vetiver and musk.

Pair it with: Te Mata Estate Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc, $17

If Your Favorite Wine Is Sauternes
You'll love: Lancome La Vie Est Belle L'Eclat Eau de Parfum, $116 (2.5 oz.) Buy Now

Why: "Orange blossom and vanilla make me think of delicious Sauternes," says Copeland. If you can't get enough of this floral dessert wine from Bordeaux, you'll gravitate to Lancome's new flanker to La Vie Est Belle. It's a sweet floriental featuring notes of orange blossom, bergamot, white flowers, vanilla and sandalwood.

Pair it with: Chateau Suduiraut 2005 Sauternes Half Bottle, $35

If Your Favorite Wine Is Riesling
You'll love: Serge Lutens Parfums Dent de Lait, $230 (3.4 oz.) Buy Now

Why: Austrian Riesling is the ideal counterpoint to spicy cuisines like Thai, says Copeland. So, if you love Riesling, sniff out a sweet fragrance with a tinge of these exotic flavors. Dent de Lait -- which translates to "milk tooth" -- has notes of almond milk, coconut, white musk and frankincense.

Pair it with: Weingut Hirsch Zobinger Gaisberg Riesling, $30; 2016 Donnhoff Tonschiefer Riesling Trocken, $25

If Your Favorite Wine Is Cabernet
You'll love: Clive Christian Noble VIII Magnolia Parfum, $550 (1.6 oz.) Buy Now

Why: This elegant floral perfume has a profile much like a classic California cab. "Clove and cinnamon with cassis sounds like a great match for high-end Napa cabernet," Copeland says. Those spices, plus magnolia and rose, are at the perfume's heart; its fruity top notes (mandarin orange and bergamot, in addition to cassis) are balanced by earthy sandalwood and moss at the base.

Pair it with: Jonata The Paring Red Blend, $25

If Your Favorite Wine Is Merlot
You'll love: Kat Von D Sinner Eau de Parfum, $85 (3.4 oz.) Buy Now

Why: If your favorite way to unwind is with a glass of Merlot, you'll be into a perfume that's similarly plummy, Copeland says. Spicy, seductive Sinner opens with notes of Mirabelle plum and mandarin orange with middle notes of white flowers and base notes of vanilla and musk.

Pair it with: The Prisoner Wine Company Thorn Merlot, $30; One Hope California Merlot, $20
