Our favorite products from this year's most talked-about beauty launches

A TSA-Approved Line of Face Masks
The Brand: Nügg Beauty
These little pods of face mask are just .33 fluid ounces, but are enough for multiple applications (if you're conservative). The masks contain natural or naturally derived ingredients and use a process called natural oil dispersion to eliminate the use of chemical emulsifiers.

Price Range: $3 for one face mask or $15 for a pack of five.

Editors' Favorite:
Nügg Soothing Face Mask, $3
This little powerhouse of a face mask contains shea butter and chamomile extract to calm the skin. My face gets extra red when exposed to the wind and cold in winter, so I'm stocking up on five-packs of these smoothing masks to last the season.

The Hair Care Line With Serious Style
The Brand: R+Co
R+Co is all about style -- from the colorful packaging and quirky names (Dallas Thickening Shampoo for your big hair needs, Death Valley Dry Shampoo), to the high-fashion lookbooks that will convince you you need every product.

Price Range: $24-$29

Editors' Favorite:
R+Co One Prep Spray, $20
One is described as a base coat for your hair. It detangles, refreshes your style, protects hair from heat ... basically it saves you from all the damage you inflict upon your hair on a daily basis. It also evens out the porosity in your hair, so your styling products work even better.

The Artist-Designed Line That Inspires Us to Switch It Up
The Brand: Charlotte Tilbury
Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury's long-awaited line finally hit the U.S. this fall, with a huge array of makeup and skin-care products. Tilbury created several different looks the likes of The Bombshell, The Rock Chick, The Glamour Muse.... that make even those of us with the most basic of makeup routines want to try something new.

Price Range: $22-$95

Editors' Favorite: Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Swish & Pop Blush, $40
These two-toned blushes contain crushed pearls, so you get a luminescent look with every application. Simply swirl the outer color across your cheeks, then use a pointed brush to add a "pop" to the apples of the cheeks with the inner color. The result is blush that looks surprisingly natural, and not clown-y.

The Products Too Pretty to Not Display
The Brand: Gucci Beauty
The black and gold, label-embossed packaging on Gucci Beauty products scream luxury, but that's not the only luxe element of the fashion house's new beauty line. The lipsticks have a "gourmand Blue Chocolate" fragrance, there's a primer that feels like real silk and the makeup brushes are designed for perfect balance (okay, we don't know exactly what that means, but it sounds handy, right?).

Price Range: $30-$80

Editors' Favorite:
Gucci Gucci Face Lustrous Glow Foundation, $65
This foundation gives the perfect blend of coverage and lit-from-within glow. It's super lightweight and wears all day without creasing or getting splotchy in oily areas, which is a lot to say for foundation that contains SPF.

The Cheekily Named Polish Line We're Collecting
The Brand: Smith & Cult
Smith & Cult is the brainchild of Dineh Mohajer, the creator of Hard Candy. The 30-shade polish line has gorgeous gold- and silver-capped polishes we display on our vanity, but it's the cheeky names (Check The Rhyme, Cut The Mullet, Feed The Rich) that make us want to scoop up every single one.

Price Range: $18

Editors' Favorite:
Our favorite shades: Lovers Creep -- an opaque bordeaux, Kings & Thieves -- opaque, inky blue and Bitter Buddhist -- opaque celadon green.

This year was a big one in the beauty world. We finally saw our dream of wearing Louboutin come true (on our fingertips that is), Tyra Banks taught us the secret to her killer cheekbones and our beauty arsenal got a whole lot bigger with the launch of several new brands. The best beauty launches from 2014 include European beauty brands whose arrival in the U.S. we've been anxiously awaiting, luxe lines from designer labels and gorgeous packaging worthy of any vanity. If you haven't tried one of these new brands yet, you're missing out.
