1. POE Purity of Elements Preventative Kit, $84
This skin care kit is amazing -- every product is packed with great ingredients -- and it's pretty! Rather than mixing and matching a ton of different skin care products, I like to use an entire system when I travel.

2. Sebastian Volupt Travel-Size Shampoo and Conditioner, $5.99 each
There is nothing worse than generic hotel shampoo...and there's rarely any conditioner at all. This Sebastian shampoo and conditioner just recently became available in a travel size, and I can't wait to bring them on my next trip.

3. June Jacobs New Body Travel Kit, $95
Sometimes I'm guilty of using any old hotel soap and skipping lotion entirely. But when I pack the right body products, I'll use them -- and my skin is so much happier for it. This June Jacobs kit is perfect for me. (Bonus: If you stay in a Hyatt, you get June Jacobs products in your room.)

4. Supergoop SPF 50 Antioxidant Infused Sunscreen Day Cream, $37
I'm insane about sunscreen 365 days of the year, but especially when I'm traveling because I'll inevitably be walking around outside. This SPF 50 is my sunscreen of choice because it's a combination of physical and mineral SPF ingredients. I pack a tube for each day of my trip. No exaggeration.

5. Yes to Cucumbers On-The-Go Facial Towelettes, $2.99
Thankfully, the TSA doesn't confiscate wipes, because I usually travel with a ton of them. I use them for everything from washing my face on the flight to wiping down my tray table. These are my favorite because they're refreshing, and they come in perfect-sized packs of 10.

1. Benetint Lip Balm SPF 15, $20
People forget, but it's crucial to wear products with SPF when you fly, since you're even closer to the sun's rays. I use this tinted lip balm on my lips to keep them hydrated and protected during the flight, then when I land I dab a bit on my lips and cheeks (not technically what it's intended for, but it totally works) to give my face some color.

2. Dove Invisible Solid Trial Size Deodorant, $1.75
I always stash a mini-deodorant in my purse when I fly. It comes in handy often, like the time I flew into Toronto in December, then sweated it out in the over-heated customs line for an hour in my giant winter coat and boots.

3. Nivea Creme Travel Size Tin, $.99
I always bring a tin of this, because my skin gets super dry when I fly. It's a tad greasy, but it'll get rid of dry skin anywhere. Plus, the travel size tin is so thin it can easily fit in your back pocket.

4. Oribe Purse Size Dry Shampoo, $19
My hair gets flat and static-y when I fly, and I need a good dry shampoo to help up the volume in my hair when I land. And if you can't find your favorite dry shampoo in a travel-friendly form, try 3floz.com, they have a ton of brands in TSA-approved sizes.

5. Garnier BB Cream, $11
This is super hydrating, has SPF, and just enough tint to keep me from looking half-dead when I get off the plane. I apply it before I leave and usually once during the flight if my skin is dry, and again when I land (I'm not joking when I say flying sucks all the moisture from my skin).

1. Sanitas Skincare Topical C, $48
This is an amazing moisturizer that multi-tasks. Not only does it quench super-dry skin (which always happens after I fly), but it also doubles as a night cream and eye cream thanks to the vitamins C, A, E, and D at work to speed cell renewal and repair signs of aging.

2. Simple Facial Cleansing Wipes, $5
I keep these stashed in my suitcase so I know I won't forget them. Since it's not a liquid, it doesn't take up space in your quart-size TSA-approved bag. Plus, these take off eye makeup -- even waterproof!

3. Own Dual Protecting Day Lotion, $22
This is the perfect sunscreen -- I use it on my face and my body and it doesn't leave a gross, white film or sunscreen-y smell. In fact, I usually keep it in my purse once I get to my destination so I can reapply if I'm outside all day.

4. AG Hair Cosmetics Hydr8 Argan Hand Moisturizer, $8
The best thing about this moisturizer is that it's actually light enough to use as a body lotion. I've even used it on my face in a pinch. It's amazingly hydrating.

5. Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour in Suspicious, $28
Nothing says 'I'm on vacation' like a great red nail polish, and this one's my favorite. I usually get a mani/pedi before I take off, but since bright reds are so noticeable when they chip, I stash a bottle in my carry-on for touch-ups.

Now that you know all our favorite travel-friendly beauty goodies, find out the five tried-and-true beauty products each one of our editors keeps going back to -- whether in air or on land.

Complaining about traveling is the great unifier; Everybody looooves to moan. And while, yes, walking through the grimy security line barefoot as your flip-flops make their way down the conveyer belt is annoying, nothing compares to having to forfeit your brand new bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy because it's over the 3.4 oz. liquid limit.

We want to help you avoid having your perfume or shampoo confiscated and taken to the beauty product graveyard at LAX, LaGuardia, or O'Hare. Check out our editors' favorite TSA-approved beauty products.

We've each ranked our top five products that come in travel-friendly sizes so you can sail through security without having to be that awkward girl that holds up the whole line because she tried to bring along her jumbo can of extra-hold hairspray. Whether we're traveling home for the holidays or off to a tropical beach vacation, these products keep us looking put-together from airport to airport.
