Botox-Juvederm Combo
Problem: Deep wrinkles
Pros: A more awake, youthful appearance and immediate results. "I feel like my face looks more relaxed ... and I feel comfortable [without] makeup, which is huge!" said Gay, 50 (pictured).
Cons: Brows arched way too high but diminished along with small bruises at the Juvederm injection sites after a few days. Botox was painless but there was stinging during the Juvederm procedure.
Total cost: $1,750 (two injection areas of Botox and two syringes of Juvederm)

Omnilux Red/Blue Light Therapy, DermaLucent White/Red Light Treatment and Pearl Laser Combo
Problem: Acne, scars and brown spots
Pros: Skin looked smoother and more even within several weeks.
Cons: Pain during and after laser procedure, seven days of "social downtime" (due to peeling, redness and a sunburn feeling) and no sun exposure. "I thought to myself I would never do it again. But [four months later] ... I've forgotten how painful it was and loved the results," said Gretchen, 29 (pictured).
Total cost: $2,590 (eight Omnilux sessions, two DermaLucent treatments and one Pearl session)

Laser Trio: Vascular, Laser Genesis and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Problem: Rosacea and melasma
Pros: Fine lines diminished and skin looked plumper. "My skin has not looked this smooth, even and glowing in a long time!" said Lucy, 35 (pictured).
Cons: Mild to moderate discomfort with the IPL treatments. "The vascular did not work to rid me of my broken capillaries and was uncomfortable (a burning, "needling" sensation), therefore not really worth it."
Total cost: $3,115 (two vascular laser, five laser genesis and three IPL treatments)

Microdermabrasion
Problem: Sun damage (freckling), under-eye circles
Pros: Skin looked smoother, brighter and more even toned. "There was no downtime at all. You could reapply makeup immediately and go out to dinner. I didn't experience any funny redness or anything," said Jenn, 31 (pictured).
Cons: A stinging sensation while sweating for the first day or two after each treatment. Skin was more sensitive so heavy sunscreen was a must -- even under clothing.
Total cost: $1,000 (five sessions)
