Hairstyle Tip: Shoulder-length or longer is a great hair length for a round face. Your face needs to have enough hair around it to create lines that draw attention away from the round edges of the face.

Hairstyle Tip: Ask for a haircut with texturized, blended ends. This will take the bulk out of your hair, which can add roundness to your face.

Hairstyle Tip: When wearing an updo, volume at the top of your head is key, but definitely should be avoided on the sides. Set your hair in large Velcro rollers to add volume on top before securing hair up to give your face a longer overall shape.

Hairstyle Tip: Wearing your hair half up can really elongate your face if you add volume and height to the hair in the front. To start the style, add waves at the root by wrapping hair around a small 1/2-inch curling iron. This adds texture and volume. Then backcomb hair at the crown of your head and loosely pin half of your hair up.

Hairstyle Tip: Long layers are ideal for a round face. The idea is to cut layers that hit at your cheeks to help elongate your face and create a more oval shape.
