Most Goddess-like, Jessica Alba
Hairstylist Robert Ramos braided a halo toward Alba's classic bun, lending a Grecian flair to her preg-o glow. To recreate her golden smoky eye, try blending L'Oreal Paris HiP Shocking Shadow Pigments, $12, in Visionary (gold) with L'Oreal HiP Pure Pigment Shadow Stick, $10, in Alluring (dark bronze). Makeup artist Tina Turnbow suggests a lot of blending to get a softer, muted look. "You can even use different-colored shadows like taupe, purple and gray, but don't use a lot of black liner." Finish off with a few coats of mascara, fill in brows and keep the rest of the face and lips natural.

Most Enchanting, Amy Adams
This glamorous, yet natural look was the result of beautiful collaboration between Amy, Proenza Schouler (who designed her dress), Molly Stern (her makeup artist) and Mark Townsend (her hairstylist). Her makeup look was natural, not overdone, which is why we liked it on the young beauty. For a softer eye look, traditional black was replaced by deep purple liner and brown mascara. The effect made her coral-hued cheeks and lips stand out subtly. Key products used: Nars Cream Blush in Cactus Flower, $24; Shu Uemura Glow On in Amber 89, $21; CoverGirl Outlast Lipcolor in 570 My Papaya, $9.99. Amy's "modern Veronica Lake" 'do was a smart way to show off her god-given gorgeous, thick hair. The look was created by curling hair with a curling iron and brushing out the curls for a softer, less old-Hollywood finish. Key products used: Vavoom Iron-In Control Protective Dry Mist, $16; Biolage Molding Souffle, $16.

Worst Looks: Most Blah, Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz rocks the "natural, surfer-chick" look better than anyone, but at the Academy Awards, we expected her to glam it up a little. Instead, all we saw was a messy ponytail and (far too) minimal makeup. Maybe our standards are too high since she normally looks so gorgeous, but we were disappointed. Cam, you can do better.

Most Wallflower-like, Ellen Page
This was Ellen Page's night to shine as a first-time Best Actress nominee. Instead she faded into the background with a slightly smoky eye and natural-looking lip. Her hair slightly covers her face instead of framing it, as if she couldn't decide between an up-do or a down-do. We applaud her for not looking too mature (she is only 21), but such a gorgeous girl could have had more fun with her look.

Most Disheveled Hair, Calista Flockhart
We give Calista props on her better-than-natural makeup and glowing skin. But we wished she would have spent a bit more time on her hair. True, it was a windy and rainy day, but plenty of other stars managed to keep their hair under control. Instead, she looks like she's wearing the style we all wear when we hop in the shower and want to avoid getting our hair wet.

The big trends on the red carpet? Loose, low styles and day-friendly makeup. (Not exactly Hollywood glam but we'll blame that on the rain.) Still, a few stars managed to stand out. Find out who got our award for Most Glamorous and who should have spent more time on her hair.
