Step 4
Trace around the outside edge of the white liner with a black liquid or gel liner (try Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner in Black, $22), using a fine liner brush. Also line your top lash lines with the black liner, extending the line out at your outer corners so that it's the same length of the other black and white lines.

Step 5
Apply black mascara and get ready to add false lashes. You'll use a full strip lash for this look (try Andrea Modlash Strip Lash, $3.29). Add a fine line of glue to the base of the lashes. Let it set for 60 seconds and then press the false lashes on your top lash lines. Squeeze the base of your lashes and the false lashes together with your fingertips to make sure they are secure.

Now you'll apply a set of bottom false lashes (try Ardell Fashion Lashes No. 112, $3.79). Glue them directly to the black line of liquid liner.

We teamed up with Gregory Arlt, director of makeup artistry for MAC cosmetics, to show you how to create this classic Twiggy look. It's easy if you follow these step-by-step instructions. For a complete look, pair this dramatic makeup with a wide headband and '60s-style turtleneck dress.
