We teamed up with Gregory Arlt, director of makeup artistry for MAC cosmetics, to show you how to create this classic Twiggy look. It's easy if you follow these step-by-step instructions. For a complete look, pair this dramatic makeup with a wide headband and '60s-style turtleneck dress.

After applying your usual foundation and concealer, sweep a white powder shadow (try Rimmel London Colour Rush Mono Eyeshadow in Matte White, $3.99) on your lids from lash lines to creases.

Blend a light gray, matte eyeshadow (try MAC Eye Shadow in Scene, $14) in the creases of your eyes extending the shadow outward toward the ends of your brows.

Using a white, matte eye pencil (try MAC Eye Kohl in Fascinating, $13.50) line your lower lash line starting at your inner corners by creating a small "v" shape and lining across the lash line. Extend the line out slightly at your outer corners. Finish by also lining the lower inner rims of your eyes with white pencil.

Trace around the outside edge of the white liner with a black liquid or gel liner (try Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner in Black, $22), using a fine liner brush. Also line your top lash lines with the black liner, extending the line out at your outer corners so that it's the same length of the other black and white lines.
