Our makeover dream team -- creator of me by {me}zhgan cosmetics and American Idol lead makeup artist Mezhgan, stylist Leland Ferrell and colorist Adam Scheib of the Sally Hershberger Salon in Los Angeles -- give mom Kim a dramatically new haircut and gorgeous color.

"I don't have a hairstyle and have been doing the same makeup since high school," says Kim, who spoils her daughters with salon highlights but cuts her own hair.

"We're taking her darker with a bit of blonde," says colorist Scheib, explaining that the shade will flatter her complexion and bring out her green eyes. And bonus -- she can even maintain it at home if she wants! Make sure to use color-protecting products after coloring hair.

Because Kim cuts her own hair, the shape is uneven. Stylist Ferrell cuts several inches, explaining, "She has great hair for a bob -- fine with a little curl." Adding that he cut fuller bangs for a more versatile style. After blow-drying Kim's hair straight, Ferrell spritzes volumizing spray on roots and uses smoothing cream on her ends. Bringing Kim's green eyes alive is Mezhgan's focus, using light colors like pearl and taupe (try Sonia Kashuk Powder Partners Eye Shadow duo in Leather and Lace, $7.99). She fills in her brows, recommending foolproof brow stencils (try Ardell Brow Perfection Stencils, $3.19), evens out Kim's complexion with a combination of primer and foundation (try me by {me}zhgan Luminous Me Primer and Foundation duo, $49), and sweeps peach blush (like NARS Blush in Orgasm, $24) on her cheeks.
