The new cut:
Gibson chops off six inches of Christine's heavy hair for a sexier look. "I didn't realize how long my hair had gotten," said Christine. Layers that fan away from the face add movement and volume -- and help avoid the outdated Jennifer Aniston "Rachel" cut.

The brow fix:
"Christine's dark brows are too severe," says Turnbow, who had a colorist dye them a shade lighter. "This brings attention to her eyes."

The new makeup look:
Turnbow applies only tinted moisturizer (like Smashbox Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer in Luminous) to show off Christine's pretty freckles. Honey-colored blush (try Stila Convertible Color in Camelia) brightens up her face. And golden brown pencil (try Vincent Longo Eye/Lip Pencil in Brown Glimmer) defines her eyes.

The 'before' shot
Here's the photo Christine sent us, asking for a makeover. We noted she was long overdue for color and was hiding behind too much hair. So, what do you think?

Christine after
"I like that my hair has more body," says Christine of her new cut. "It's easy to style and looks so much healthier." Is your hair as healthy as Christine's? Find out with this quiz.

Our makeover dream team -- celebrity stylist Ted Gibson, owner of Ted Gibson Salon in New York City, and celebrity makeup artist and Beauty.com spokesperson Tina Turnbow -- will give Christine a shorter haircut and makeup worthy of a night out.
