Buns are the style of choice for many of the starlets at the Globes (it's been a trend for a while as this photo gallery proves), and Kate wears one of the most gorgeous. Get an extra slick look like hers by smoothing strong-hold gel on dry, straight hair (try Kiehl's Clean Hold Styling Gel, $15) and securing it into a ponytail. Use large hairpins to secure into a chignon shape.

Jennifer Morrison
To get high volume hair like Jennifer's, start by using hot rollers to add body. This video will help you learn how to use them. Then tease hair starting at the crown and working your way forward until you achieve the volume you want. Smooth over the top layer of hair with a boar-bristle brush and secure into a low, side bun. Spray with a hairspray like Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode, $15, to finish.

Use shimmer to add playfulness to a smoky-eye-and-nude-pink-lip look like the one you see on this "House" star. Dust shimmer powder on the top of your cheekbones and under your brow bones. (Try MAC Iridescent Pressed Powder, $21.) For help in mastering a smoky eye, watch this video.

Elizabeth Banks
Gorgeous glam waves like Elizabeth's can be easily achieved with hot rollers (try Hot Tools Professional 12 Piece Tourmaline Hairsetter, $32). Roll the front of your hair upward in the rollers and the rest under. Let rollers cool then brush out curls to soften and smooth them. Slide in a jeweled comb to finish the look.
