Buns are the style of choice for many of the starlets at the Globes (it's been a trend for a while as this photo gallery proves), and Kate wears one of the most gorgeous. Get an extra slick look like hers by smoothing strong-hold gel on dry, straight hair (try Kiehl's Clean Hold Styling Gel, $15) and securing it into a ponytail. Use large hairpins to secure into a chignon shape.

To get high volume hair like Jennifer's, start by using hot rollers to add body. This video will help you learn how to use them. Then tease hair starting at the crown and working your way forward until you achieve the volume you want. Smooth over the top layer of hair with a boar-bristle brush and secure into a low, side bun. Spray with a hairspray like Bumble and bumble Spray de Mode, $15, to finish.
