Blythe Danner
Longtime eco-activist, award-winning actress and mother of eco-conscious actress Gwyneth Paltrow (and earth-friendly son-in-law Chris Martin), Danner has advocated recycling and conservation for three decades. She helped implement and retain curbside recycling in both Santa Monica, Calif., and New York City. She also holds spots on the EMA's board of environmental activists and board of directors, drives an electric car and has solar panels in her home.

Josie Maran
The model-actress-mother took a cue from her bohemian, environmentally conscious family (her dad's a green builder) and enlisted the help of the Environmental Working Group and The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics to launch Josie Maran Cosmetics, her luxury line made with organic ingredients and biodegradable packaging. (Their press releases are even printed on recycled paper.) In addition to wearing eco-friendly clothing by labels like Evidence of Evolution, she supports Global Green's Green Schools for Southern California Initiative.

Daryl Hannah
As famous for her activism as she is for her acting, Hannah has aggressively supported causes ranging from preserving farms to battling sexual slavery. (She was arrested in 2006 in a tree-sitting protest to prevent loss of an urban garden.) She runs a weekly video blog on sustainable solutions with an online store selling only environmentally friendly goods. Oh, and her green home runs on solar power while her car runs on biodiesel ... naturally.

Soleil Moon Frye
The actress ("Punky Brewster," "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch"), mother and EMA member had such a hard time finding non-toxic alternatives for her children that she opened an eco-friendly baby store in Los Angeles called The Little Seed where parents can buy non-toxic, stylish baby products.

If Cameron and Gwyneth do it, will you do it too? Yes, celebs have millions of dollars at their disposal (to offset those travel emissions, for one) but many of these green beauties show that it doesn't always take a lot of dough to put in a little effort. Find out which celebrity activists are making green more than just a trend with inspiring eco-friendly choices, from the clothes they wear to the causes they support.
