Want to know how to recreate the waves you just saw? Try these tips from Victoria's Secret hairstylist Italo Gregorio, who has the sexy look down pat:
Step 1: After shampooing and conditioning, apply mousse all over hair (try Alberto VO5 Extreme Style Curvaceous Curls Styling Mousse,$3.69). It's important to do this while the hair is still wet. If you wait too long before styling after your shower, your hair begins to dry flat.
Step 3: Starting from the front, create 2-inch sections of hair and blow-dry with a
medium-small round brush. Work all the way through the back, making sure to
pin each section into a curl with a large hair pin after drying to set the curl.
Step 4: Let the pin curls cool for five minutes, then remove pins and
spray hair with hairspray (try Jonathan Product Finish Control High Shine Flexible Hairspray,$30). Use your fingers -- not a brush -- to comb through your waves in order to achieve that "undone" sexy look. If you want extra waves, just reinforce them where needed with a medium-sized curling iron (but don't curl the very ends of the hair so the look stays modern and cool).
There's nothing as universally flattering as post-day-at-the-beach hair, but recreating that gorgeous texture and body without wind, sand and surf can be tricky. Luckily, Victoria's Secret head stylist Italo Gregorio is sharing his tips on recreating sexy waves at home ... but first, how about a little inspiration courtesy of some of your fave celebs?
