Miley Cyrus
Cyrus' hairstyle looks gorgeous on long hair. To get her tendrils, curl your hair using a small barrel curling iron. Then, take a thick strand of hair from near the ear and twist back. Secure the twist with bobby pins, and partially cover it with hair in the back. It's okay to let the twist come undone during the day -- Cyrus' twists drape over her ear and blend in naturally with the rest of her hair.

Diane Kruger
Kruger looks like royalty with this crown twist, which works best for those with medium or shoulder-length hair. To get this look, create a side part then smooth the side with less hair down with a pomade or wax (try Goldwell Profiler Mousse Wax, $18). On the other side of your head, start from the top, and twist along the edge of your hairline, gathering hair as you reach the nape of your neck. Secure the twist with pins and then gather the rest of your hair from the other side and twist it along the bottom of your head. Tuck the ends into your twist and pin the entire twist down.

Mischa Barton
Barton's twist looks great on long, straight hair. To get this look, take two strands of hair (one from near your ear, one from the top of your head) and twist them once or twice. As you twist for the third time, grab another strand of hair from the top of your head and include it in the twist. Don't pull hair too tightly -- you want to create a piece-y look. Pin the twist into place behind your ear.

"The Twist" is more than just a popular 60s dance. It's also a look practically anyone can wear. So check out this celebrity hairstyle that's fun to sport and so easy to copy.
