Stand out in the crowd on New Years Eve with this frosty look:

Step 1: Even your skin tone with foundation and sweep a bit of pink blush on your cheekbones (don't over do it though, the focus is on the eyes for this look).

Step 2: Apply black liner to your inner rims. Then, use blue eyeliner (try Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Deviant, $17) along your top and bottom lash lines, slightly smudging the bottom line. Apply a matching blue shadow (try Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in Adore, $18) on your lids up to the creases.

Step 3: Apply false eyelashes (use this video as a guide) on the outer corners of your lash lines (cut full lash strips in half and use the outer half only) for a winged look. Apply mascara before and after applying false lashes to blend your real lashes into the fake ones.

Step 4: Apply a sheer, bubble-gum pink lipgloss to your lips, try mark Glow Baby Glow Luxe Hook up Lip Gloss in Girly Girl, $5.50.

This cranberry lip color will look divine at a family dinner:

Step 1: Apply a sheer foundation or tinted moisturizer (try Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, $42) to even your skin tone.

Step 2: Apply white eyeliner to your lower inner rims, and use a frosty white eyeshadow (try Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow in Bone, $20) on your lids and inner corners of your eyes. Apply false lashes or simply apply multiple coats of thickening mascara (like CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Blasting Mascara, $7.99) to finish the eyes.

Step 3: Use a cranberry-colored lip liner to line your lips (try Clinique Quickliner for Lips in Rich Red, $14) and fill them in for staying power. Then, apply a long-lasting (hey, you'll want to make it through dinner, right?) cranberry-colored lipstick (like Clinique Long Last Soft Shine Lipstick in Merlot, $14) with a lip brush for precision. Follow up with clear gloss, and put an extra dot of gloss in the center of your lips to make them appear fuller.

Curl your lashes and apply thickening mascara (like Benefit BADgal Lash, $29).

This subtly sparkly look will work for any festive occasion:

Step 1: Use a tinted moisturizer or sheer foundation to even your skin tone. Then, swipe a pale pink blush (like Benefit Dandelion, $28) on your cheeks.

Step 2: Line inner rims and outer rims with black eyeliner (like Chanel Stylo Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Black Shimmer, $19). Smudge the line on the outer rims of your eyes. Use a white sparkly eyeshadow on the inner corners of your eyes, and on your lids use a taupe-bronze shadow (try Nars Duo Eyeshadow in Bellisima, $32, it has both shades you need). Blend the two together in the inner third of your lid so there's no noticeable line. Apply the taupe shadow up into your crease and smudge it out slightly beyond the outer corner of your eye. Apply mascara to finish the eye look.

Step 3: Use a pink lip tint (like Benefit Posietint, $28) and apply a clear gloss on top to finish the look.
