Blake Lively: Hair
Frederic Fekkai hairstylist Renato Campora styled this look for Lively. Here's how to do it at home: Apply a strong hold mousse (Campora used Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse, $23, cheap swap: TreSemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse, $4.22) and blow dry hair straight. Then apply a gel to prep your hair (Campora used Fekkai Coiff Extra Control Styling Gel, $23, cheap swap: Redken Hardwear 16 Super Strong Gel, $11.05). Tease your hair all over and pull it into a tight high pony.

For this look, Campora added hair extensions, but for everyday you could just use your natural hair. Braid the entire pony and fasten the end. Apply a finishing cream (Campora used Fekkai Coiff Magnifique Ultra-Light Finishing Crme, $23, cheap swap: Herbal Essences Tousle me Softly Finishing Cream, $5.49) over the top of your head and the braid for a sleek look.

Debra Messing: Makeup
Makeup artist Carol Shaw created Messing's sultry look for Emmy day. She recommends toning down the eyes for a more natural, everyday look by blending vanilla-colored shadow under the brow bone and medium cool brown shadow on lids. Then line the top and bottom lash lines with dark brown. She used Lorac Red Carpet Reveal Eye & Cheek Palette, $35, which contains all of the shades just mentioned. Cheap swap: Wet 'n' Wild Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette in Paradise Cove, $4.99. Finish the eye with two coats of black mascara.

Complete the look by dusting cheeks with bronzer (Shaw used Lorac Tantalizer Baked Bronzer, $30, cheap swap: Physician's Formula Baked Pyramid Bronzer, $10.99) and glossing lips with a light nude lipgloss (Shaw used Lorac Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Vintage, $22, cheap swap: Clinique Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine in Beach Bunny, $17.50).

Leighton Meester: Hair
To get a look like Meester's at home, start by applying a light-hold mousse (like Aussie Opposites Attract Styling Mousse, $3.99) and roughly blow drying hair for texture and volume. Once hair is dry, tease a few random sections around your head for more texture.

Now's your chance to get creative. Basically, to create this look you need to take sections of hair (some small, some larger), twist them and then pin them near the center of the back of your head and work outwards. Leave a few strands loose near your face. Remember, the point of this look is not to be perfect or exactly duplicate Meester's updo. Just twist and pin until you're happy with the shape and look of your hairstyle. Finish by spraying a strong hold hairspray (like Rusk W8less Plus Extra Strong Hold Shaping and Control Hairspray, $11.90) on the back of your head.

Kristin Chenoweth: Makeup
Get her look: To mellow out Chenoweth's shimmery brown smoky eye for day, simply sweep shimmery bronze shadow from top lashes to creases, skipping the lower lashlines (try Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Twice Baked, $16). Next, line the inner rims of your eyes with black pencil liner (try N.Y.C. New York Color Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Black, $3.39). In place of false lashes, coat your real lashes with two layers of black volumizing mascara (try Lancome Hypnose Custom Volume Mascara in Black, $24.50).

Complete the look by dusting bronzer or bronze-colored blush on your forehead, nose, cheeks and chin (try MAC Mineralize Blush in Cheek & Cheerful, $21) and slicking lips with sheer pink gloss (try Flirt! Squeeze Me Lipgloss in Pink Champagne, $11.99).

Julia Louis-Dreyfus: Hair
Celebrity Stylist Oscar Blandi created Louis-Dreyfus' look for the Emmys. To do it at home, spritz a volumizing spray from roots to ends for added lift. Blandi used Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray, $18, cheap swap: Sunsilk Daring Volume Volumizing Spray, $9.95. Also apply a wave-enhancing spray from the mid point of your hair down to the ends to create loose waves (Blandi used Oscar Blandi Wave Enhancing Spray, $18, cheap swap: Victoria's Secret So Sexy Wave-Enhancing Spray, $10).

Blow dry your hair, focusing on lifting your roots (try putting your head upside down) and creating a side-part. Finally, take a 3-inch barrel curling iron and curl small sections of hair all over, holding the iron vertically. Keep the top part of your hair smooth. Finish with hairspray, or for every day, skip the hairspray and let curls loosen naturally.

Sure, it would be nice to walk the red carpet like Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian or Drew Barrymore, but most of us will never get the chance. However, that doesn't mean we can't have red carpet-worthy style every day, right? That's why we pulled together easy-to-do tips from celebrity hair and makeup artists for our favorite Emmy Awards looks. Now, you can feel like an A-list star whenever you want, even if the only one fawning over you is your pooch.
