Christina Applegate: Makeup
Subtract the false lashes and Applegate's look, created by makeup artist Joanna Schlip, is totally wearable for the average chick. To copy it, sweep peachy-pink highlighter on the apples of your cheeks up to your temples for glowing skin (Schlip used Clarins Instant Sun Light Shimmer Palette, $36, cheap swap: Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Mineral BronzeBrightener, $13.95). Next, sweep dark gray shadow on eyelids, just into your creases. Then line top and bottom lines and inner rims with black eyeliner pencil. Schlip used Clarins Eye Pencil in Black, $21.50, cheap swap: L'Oreal Paris Wear Infinite Self Advancing Waterproof Eyeliner, $8.48. Finish with two coats of black mascara.

Though Schlip used lipstick and gloss on Christina, you can get away with gloss only. Try a sheer pink shade, Schlip used Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm in Rose Pink, $20, cheap swap: E.L.F. Super Glossy Lip Shine in Pink Kiss, $1.

Drew Barrymore: Hair
To create a look similar to Barrymore's at home, start by applying a texturizing spray gel to hair (it will give hair a bit of texture without looking too messy, one to try: Biolage Bodifying Spray Gel, $14.99) and blow dry straight. Tease the top of your hair, starting at the crown and working forward. Then, smooth the front of your hair back over the top and secure in a ponytail about ear level.

Divide the pony into two sections horizontally. Take the bottom section and roll it up towards the base of the pony and pin into place. Then, take the top section of hair and wrap it around the bottom section, concealing the hair elastic. Finish by lightly applying a smoothing cream (like TIGI Bed Head After-Party Smoothing Cream, $16.95) over the top of hair and the bun.

Note: Barrymore likely had an extra hairpiece to give her bun more fullness, but for an easier everyday look, just do the bun without the piece.

Kim Kardashian: Makeup
Though Kardashian's pastel eyeshadow made her stand out on the red carpet, it's a bit too much for us average Jane's to pull of. Tone down the look by sweeping a very sheer layer of silver or minty green shimmery shadow on lids just into your creases (try CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadow in Platina, $3.14). Next, line the inner rims of your eyes with black pencil liner (try L'Oreal Paris Wear Infinite Self Advancing Waterproof Eyeliner, $8.48). In lieu of mile-long false lashes, apply two coats of lengthening mascara (try Estee Lauder Lash XL Maximum Length Mascara in Black, $21).

Complete the look with peach blush (try Nars Blush in Orgasm, $25) and nude lipstick (try Boots No.7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in Highland Mist, $7.49).

Blake Lively: Hair
Frederic Fekkai hairstylist Renato Campora styled this look for Lively. Here's how to do it at home: Apply a strong hold mousse (Campora used Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse, $23, cheap swap: TreSemme Thermal Creations Volumizing Mousse, $4.22) and blow dry hair straight. Then apply a gel to prep your hair (Campora used Fekkai Coiff Extra Control Styling Gel, $23, cheap swap: Redken Hardwear 16 Super Strong Gel, $11.05). Tease your hair all over and pull it into a tight high pony.

For this look, Campora added hair extensions, but for everyday you could just use your natural hair. Braid the entire pony and fasten the end. Apply a finishing cream (Campora used Fekkai Coiff Magnifique Ultra-Light Finishing Crme, $23, cheap swap: Herbal Essences Tousle me Softly Finishing Cream, $5.49) over the top of your head and the braid for a sleek look.

Debra Messing: Makeup
Makeup artist Carol Shaw created Messing's sultry look for Emmy day. She recommends toning down the eyes for a more natural, everyday look by blending vanilla-colored shadow under the brow bone and medium cool brown shadow on lids. Then line the top and bottom lash lines with dark brown. She used Lorac Red Carpet Reveal Eye & Cheek Palette, $35, which contains all of the shades just mentioned. Cheap swap: Wet 'n' Wild Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette in Paradise Cove, $4.99. Finish the eye with two coats of black mascara.

Complete the look by dusting cheeks with bronzer (Shaw used Lorac Tantalizer Baked Bronzer, $30, cheap swap: Physician's Formula Baked Pyramid Bronzer, $10.99) and glossing lips with a light nude lipgloss (Shaw used Lorac Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Vintage, $22, cheap swap: Clinique Full Potential Lips Plump and Shine in Beach Bunny, $17.50).

Sure, it would be nice to walk the red carpet like Heidi Klum, Kim Kardashian or Drew Barrymore, but most of us will never get the chance. However, that doesn't mean we can't have red carpet-worthy style every day, right? That's why we pulled together easy-to-do tips from celebrity hair and makeup artists for our favorite Emmy Awards looks. Now, you can feel like an A-list star whenever you want, even if the only one fawning over you is your pooch.
