Benefit Fake Up, $24
Most of us are old pals with Benefit's fantastic concealers: Erase Paste and Boi-ing. Well, now the brand is adding another under-eye brighter to their super-popular arsenal. Meet Fake Up, the new concealer and moisturizer combo. It feels weightless and goes on so silky, you'll barely need to blend. Plus, it's got vitamin E and Appleseed extract, which means it works like an under eye cream, minimizing those puffy bags. I've been stashing the lipstick shaped tube in my purse to perk up my face for after-work happy hours.

This one's for the "What took so long?" file. Got2b's newest shampoo and conditioner combo is like liquid bronzer for your hair. Not only is it loaded with nourishing oils (to fight that dreaded summer frizz), but it also contains teeny specks of shimmer particles, so your hair actually looks sun-kissed. Now all you need is one of these natural-looking self-tanners and you'll be golden -- literally.

I know most of the beauty world is currently obsessing over BB Creams, but my sensitive skin can't take that kind of multi-ingredient cocktail. When I use a BB, I break out and end up switching back to my trusty tinted moisturizer. I know I can't be alone in this, since new tinted moisturizers and BB Creams seem to hit store shelves in equal numbers. The latest? This one from Shiseido. The brand's new version may not be packed with anti-aging ingredients (that's what serums are for anyway, right?), but it keeps my skin looking even and glowing. Plus, the high SPF is a serious bonus.

Like most gals, I always feel the need switch things up when spring arrives. But one too many haircut regrets usually inspire me to stick to smaller tweaks. You know, move my part, update my lip color, and swap out my fragrance. And just-released perfumes are my favorites (I hate passing another woman wearing my "new" scent). This year I've switched to Tocca's new Lilanna fragrance. Its subtle floral scent (with notes of gardenia, white peony, and peach) is pleasant without being too distinct, which means even if it becomes super popular, I can still create my own unique fragrance by layering it over scented lotions.

We saw some amazing new products hit store shelves last month as well. Click here to see what you missed.

March is the best month of the year.

Bold statement? Yup. Guaranteed to spark an argument? Sure. But do I have evidence to back up my proclamation? You know it.

Skip ahead to see the eight best beauty buys launching in March 2013.

First, I should acknowledge that I'm a little biased, considering my birthday falls in March (feel free to leave gifts and well wishes in the comments below). But there are plenty of other reasons to love this third month of the calendar year. Let me count the ways:

First up, March marks the arrival of spring -- the first glimpse of hope that the dreary days of Uggs will soon be replaced by sunnier times that call for Havaianas. Then, there are all of those spring-is-in-the-air signs. Blooming flowers, people playing Frisbee in the park, fuchsia lipstick, March Madness does it get better?

It does: March is also when beauty brands trot out some of their biggest releases of the year.

From Jo Malone's limited edition fragrance collection to Esteé Lauder's second "Mad Men" makeup line, I've rounded up a few more reasons (read: the best beauty products) to prove March's prowess as the best month ever.
