Snack on a stick
This is a great snack for a few reasons. One, it's made using only healthy fruits, granola, and yogurt. Two, it lets kids have fun with their food (and motivates even picky eaters to join in). Three, who doesn't like eating stuff off a stick?

When I was a kid, the list of what I wouldn't eat far exceeded the list of what I would. My mom would literally bribe me with toys to get me to eat my veggies -- and even then I'd rarely have more than a bite or two, despite the risk of Barbie getting banned for the night.

Luckily, my picky eating has subsided, and I'm (mostly) a healthy eater. And while I've since apologized to my mom for staging a protest at every meal, I know the epic battles of moms vs. kids and carrot sticks vs. French fries still rage on in kitchens across the country.

To give you a little ammo in the fight, I've rounded up six recipes from Pinterest that should please even the pickiest of kids (I would have chowed down on them even at the height of my finicky years). Not only are the recipes kid-friendly, but they'll also allow you to sneak in some much-needed fruits and vegetables without drowning them in cheese sauce or butter.

And with nary a chicken finger in sight, you may even want to dig into these dishes as well.
