Snapchat Rainbow
Halloween makeup doesn't get easier -- or hipper -- than this clever look that's based on Snapchat's new puking rainbow lens. Your Snap-addicted friends will be so impressed with this story-worthy look. The best part? You don't even need a costume to go with it

Galaxy Goddess
This makeup look is more than a Halloween costume -- it's a work of art. Thankfully, you don't have to be a real-life artist to pull it off. You just have to be patient. And a space nerd. Wear a black top and some hip, space-patterned leggings, and you'll look totally out of this world (sorry, we had to).

Barbie Beauty
This Barbie tutorial by celebrity makeup artist Kandee Johnson is our childhood dream come true. And since we can't get away with wearing this pink, plasticky makeup the other 364 days of the year, we're using Halloween as the perfect excuse to plaster on sparkly pink lips.

Three typical Halloween scenarios:

Scary scenario 1: It's the day before Halloween and while you were quite happy with your plans to sit on the couch and watch "Psycho" with a bag of mini Snickers, you get a last minute invitation to a Halloween party. You think, "Does black nail polish count as Halloween makeup?" Panic sets in.

Scary scenario 2: It's two weeks 'till all hallows eve and you decide it's finally time to stop embarrassing/frightening your kids at school by showing up in a Jason mask and sweat pants.

(Not so) Scary scenario 3: You've always loved Halloween and this year, you want to invest some time and effort into your look (the sexy kitten costume you've recycled going on four years now just isn't cutting it anymore).

Well ladies, fear not. We've watched hundreds of YouTube videos, dug up the best Halloween makeup tutorials, and compiled them. Basically, we created a thoroughly entertaining video cheat sheet of the coolest looks so you can amp up your game quickly and cheaply this year.

Because who needs to spend upwards of 50 bucks on a bagged costume someone else will surely be wearing?

Makeup for Halloween is not only fun, it's creative. And these vids are all over the place in inspiration: some creepy, some sexy, some just plain weird, all awesome. Get inspired to get spooky.
