"My favorite 'finishing touch' is applying highlighting powder to the top of the cheekbones, which changes the plane of light on the face," Barnes says. Stern also suggests adding a spot of highlighter to the tip of your nose and in your cupid's bow for an extra glow.

And finally, when everything is done and you've set your look with powder, Stiles suggests putting a tiny bit of light moisturizer on your hands, rubbing them together, and pressing your palms lightly on your cheeks. "This will bring life back to the face if it feels dull and flat," she says.
