The haircut: Fringe with a shag. "This 70s-inspired look gives a modern rocker edge to any woman. It can be worn at various lengths from medium/long to shoulder grazing. Ask your stylist not to skimp on the texture as the more unruly this cut looks, the better," says Schlenger.

Best for: "Works great on most face shapes and can really enhance your jaw line. The excess of shaggy layers are great for thicker, wavier hair [and] a heavy fringe [makes it a] head turning look," says Schlenger.

The haircut: Punk rock angles. "This trend is not for everyone, but crazy colors, drastic haircuts, and spiky styles are reemerging. The trick is knowing how far to take it," explains Schlenger. If you are interested in taking a bold leap, rely on your stylist for advice on what they think you can pull off. If you want to test the waters, Schlenger recommends starting slowly with a slightly asymmetrical look.

Best for: Most textures can find an edgy look like this that'll work for them.

The haircut: Layered bob. "This classic haircut hasn't changed much over the years, but a beautifully layered bob will always be in style. What's new is how women are styling them -- smooth and sleek to messy and wild [like Decker's], women are finding more and more unconventional ways to wear a very conventional haircut," says Schlenger.

Best for: "This haircut can be customized to any woman. Rounder faces should leave length below their chin to prevent looking rounder. Because there is no 'right' way to style this cut, any hair texture can give it a go," she says.
