The haircut: The super long bob, a "one length cut that hits at the collar bone, usually worn slightly shorter in the back," says Schlenger. "Ends are given lots of texture making this haircut easy to maintain and style," which is probably why "Vogue" is calling this haircut a "beauty phenomenon."

Best for: "Normal to fine hair with straight or wavy texture. If you have thicker hair and love the look, ask your stylist to undercut your hair allowing your hair to lay smoothly over top," says Schlenger.

Ginnifer Goodwin
The haircut: Textured pixy. "This classic [cut] has become so modern and versatile, there is really a look for anyone brave enough to try it," says Schlenger. You can take it "short and androgynous," playing around with "shaved sides and messy, choppy hair on top [similar to Goodwin's style here]," or leave length on top for a feminine approach like Michelle Williams," she says.

Best for: Schlenger says, "It works great with every face shape and can work with any texture."

The haircut: Long, soft layers. "This season, overly layered is just too much work," says Schlenger. "Instead, ask your stylist to leave your layers soft and long [making them] subtle and well blended with plenty of texture. To add visual interest around your face, have your stylist cut cheekbone, or chin grazing pieces of hair [as] this will give your face lift and shape and they will look great with your hair tied up," she advises.

Best for: "Works great with every face shape and normal to thick hair," says Schlenger.

The haircut: Sleek and straight layers. "It's been a while since we've pulled out our flat irons, but smooth, sleek hair is on its way back," says Schlenger. "This versatile look can be worn with a center part, or a trendy deep side part. Ask your stylist to give you soft face framing layers to give your cut shape. And just because it's straight, doesn't mean it needs to be flat," she advises. "Work volume into the crown area to give the whole look a boost."

Best for: "Although it works best on straight, fine hair, if you are a styling wizard and up for the task, it can work well on thicker textures too," says Schlenger.

The haircut: Fringe with a shag. "This 70s-inspired look gives a modern rocker edge to any woman. It can be worn at various lengths from medium/long to shoulder grazing. Ask your stylist not to skimp on the texture as the more unruly this cut looks, the better," says Schlenger.

Best for: "Works great on most face shapes and can really enhance your jaw line. The excess of shaggy layers are great for thicker, wavier hair [and] a heavy fringe [makes it a] head turning look," says Schlenger.

The birds are chirping, babies are hatching, flowers are blooming, and you're frantically organizing your closet and cleaning out the garage. It must be spring.
