A Vintage Tin and a Drugstore Steal
I'm thankful for ...

Smith's Rosebud Salve, $8.95. This salve, with its iconic pale pink tint, has been moisturizing my lips for more than 15 years. It's not sticky, smells great, and comes in the cutest tin ever. As someone who doesn't pile on lots of makeup, I like how this balm works well with my natural look.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer , $5.49. Even though you can buy this product at the drugstore, it works as well as any high-end formula I've tried. The concealer goes on smoothly and is great at masking the dark circles under my eyes (a consistent problem I deal with). I never go a day without using it. --Alexis Finc

The Queen of All Body Lotions and Steroids for Limp Lashes
I'm thankful for ...

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion, $19. How do I love this product? Let me count the many, many ways. It smells great, works wonders, lasts forever, and has been my trusty sidekick ever since high school. I'm a certified moisturizer junky and have tried hundreds over the years but have always remained loyal to Alba Botanica because it's simply the best at keeping my skin hydrated all day.

Clinique High Impact Mascara, $16. As someone who has the most anemic set of lashes on God's green earth, I am so grateful for this mascara. It coats my pathetic lashes and somehow manages to give me long(ish), thick(ish) results. --Audrey Fine

A Cystic Spot Remover and Better-Than-Biotin Supplements
I'm thankful for ...

Atralin (a prescription-strength retinol). A couple of years ago I was dealing with some major cystic acne on my chin, which is rough for anyone but felt extra awkward considering I'm a beauty editor. My dermatologist prescribed this for me and it made a huge difference, I'm so grateful for my clear (or, at least, clearer) skin.

Viviscal supplements, $49.99. I've always had baby fine hair and spent years looking for products that promised to plump it up. Of course nothing really worked long-term, not even regular biotin supplements. But I swear that after a few months of taking these pills my hair feels thick for the first time ever and I seem to lose fewer strands in the shower (something my husband is thankful for as well). --Sarah Carrillo

In the grand scheme of what's truly important in life, beauty products don't rank terribly high. But that doesn't mean we don't love and cherish the really great ones and appreciate all that they do for us.

So as we gear up to count our blessings this Thanksgiving, we decided to take a moment to give thanks for the beauty products that keep us looking and feeling great all year long.

While some of us were nostalgic with our picks and went with beauty products that have been by our sides for years, others welcomed new releases into the fold. And here's the best part: Anyone can play this "game." So, as you baste the turkey or dice stuffing celery and bandy about your life's blessings with your family and friends this Thursday, why not take a moment to give props to the products you appreciate most?
