How-to: Step 1: Start by applying a volumizing mousse like Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Styling Whip, $23 and a texturizing spray gel like Sexy Hair Double Header Volumizing & Texturizing Spray, $9.99 from the roots to the ends of damp hair. Step 2: Blow dry hair lightly with your hands, letting any natural wave pattern show through. Step 3: Using a one-inch barrel curling iron, take two three-inch sections of hair and curl the hair away from the face, placing into pin curls (use duckbill clips to hold the curls in place) before letting the curl loose. Let curls cool fully before removing clips. Step 4: As you remove the pin curls, let the hair fall naturally into place with a center (but slightly messy) part to achieve the bohemian vibe. Finally, secure the look by spraying with stronghold hairspray.

Step 2: Wrap large sections of hair around a large barrel iron to give a slight wave to just the ends. Step 3: Use a fine-tooth comb to lightly tease the crown of your head before loosely pulling hair into low ponytail with a clear elastic. Section out front layers, middle part them and leave them hanging. Step 4: Finally, take a small section of the ponytail and gently wrap it around the elastic. Tuck the ends of the section into the base of the ponytail with a bobby pin or two. Step 5: Mist with a flexible-hold hairspray like Dove Flexible Hold Aerosol Hairspray with Natural Movement, $4.99 to keep the ponytail touchable and bouncy.

Step 2: Blow dry your hair with a large round brush, then use a dollop of smoothing cream like Pantene Pro-V Restore Beautiful Lengths Smoothing Balm, $4.99 and coat three-inch sections of hair before curling with an iron. Step 3: Using a medium-to-large barreled curling iron, curl hair under one three-inch section of hair at a time. Step 4: Once all of your hair is curled and cool, brush through it to reveal voluminous waves. Lightly smooth a bit more cream through your waves, as needed, to tame any flyaways. Step 5: Create a side part and smooth hair back on each side with your fingers, pinning back the hair above your ears. Step 6: Finish by misting with flexible-hold hairspray.
