If you do't mind roughness in your hair, it does give a lot of volume. It doesn't leave hair soft though.

My Aunt gave me a can of this and I was sceptic. Then I tried it and got hooked! It's great on wet or dry hair. Sometimes in the middle of the day I'll put a little on then blow dry just the roots for added oomph. It doesn't sacrifice shine either.

I have tried many root boost formulas and this has proved to be the best. The lift lasts all day and into the next.
