Being a Japanese company, this brand really knows their customers. As a Japanese girl myself I have straight short lashes, but a few pumps of this and I'm instantly bright eye'd. This is a really high quality tool that doesn't pinch your eyes, either.

I've used many other curlers but the Shu Uemura is really the best. It doesn't pinch and curls very nicely. It doesn't crimp but nicely curls the lash. My only complaint is that they don't sell the rubber cushion replacement . You actually have to buy a new curler.

I've always had a tough time curling my lashes they're long but doesn't curl all that well. I have tried all kinds of different brand curlers. I've even tried perming them which is not fun to do but since I've been using shu uemura eyelash curler I havent had any problems the curl lasts all day...
