Essie is a great nail polish brand with some great cult favorite colors. My favorite is Mint Candy Apple, a light bluish greenish color. The formulas on these babies glide on your nail so smoothly and last for a while too.

The essie polish chipped super quick for me (same day). And I found it was comparable to a cheaper brand. I prefer OPI or China Glaze.
