Bare Escentuals, & most other mineral make-up lines, use bismuth oxychloride to add the "sheen". This is NOT a safe ingredient for any skin type & will make sensitive and acne-prone skin worse.
I can only say: I love my BareMinerals. I was a person at 43 who did not believe in foundation because i like that natural look. Boy with just a little BareMineral and a nice brush that comes with product to buff your face comes out amazing. My complexion really pops!!!
