While this is a very cheap and somewhat crappy product, the crimping plates are great! I like that I can use small and large crimps. The straightening plates are worthless though. Do not get this to use as a straightener...

i bought this when I was 10, used it once and threw it away. none of these tools work, its just a waste of money. this is not even worthy of my 1 star rating.

The actual straightening plates itself couldn't straighten hair if it depended on it. The crimpers work but all it has to do is crease your hair. It should be illegal for women to crimp their hair anyway. That style went out long ago so let it go because it is not gonna come back!

I purchased one of these irons and didn't have the courage to finish my hair before I threw it in the garbage... It is a total waste of money especially for us caribbean women. Didn't even bother trying the other plates because I was so disappointed by the flat iron itself....

The plates are cheap and this styler left my hair fried and more frizzy than it really is. My hair is colored as well and this styler actually made the fresh color inconsistent due to the plates not being evenly heated. I got another flat iron for around $30 and threw this one away
