What is this supposed to do, exactly? The BE infomericals describe this as "candlelight," which makes it sound like an illuminator. Nothing special, but it doesn't give me the powdery look most setting powders give. I prefer MAC's mineralize skinfinish over this product.

I purchased a whole set of Bare Escentuals and I absolutely love it! The mineral vail helps keep my face from getting shiny and finishes the whole look off!

I apply a light dusting of Mineral Veil over my BE foundation and blush as the finishing touch. It seems to even everything out and provide a flawless finish. I'll also use it during the day to touch up any shiny areas.
