I love Tom's of Maine toothpaste so I thought I would try the deodorant, but I was really disappointed. It felt sticky and almost wet when I applied it, and it didn't seem to do much. It was especially bad for me because I don't usually smell in the first place, and it just made things stickier...

but it doesn't. The quality of the product is not exactly at fault, nor is it a bad value for the money. It is just the claim that it is a deodorant at all. I don't like feeling like I'm stinking and in order not to with this you'd have to reapply it every ten minutes.

I've tried several brands of 'natural' or aluminum-free deodorants, and this one is awesome! Lasts all day and works really well. Some of the other kinds I tried made my BO worse than if I didn't wear anything - INTOLERABLE! :) This is excellent, though.

You don't need Tom's, it still allows one to smell au-natural.
