I have never tried the higher SPF, but have used the 40 and it is wonderful. Never clogs my pores, keeps my skin soft, not greasy and above all, I do ot get any dark pigments on my face after being in the sun. That is saying something for over 55 skin.!

...but with a different texture. Smells like sunscreen, feels like it, and looks like it (shiny). The smell wasn't horrible or too "tropical" or anything, and it absorbed pretty quickly. Not my #1 but it's alright.
