this is WAY WAY too drying. it burns, smells bad, and hurts! i wouldnt recremend it for sensitive or normal skin, only severley affected acne. Its too strong for a daily wash.

I bought this and used it for about a year. The acne started clearing up a little, but it dried my face out. My face was peeling in some areas. I'm in my 30's so I don't think Proactiv is for older skin. Or maybe it's just my skin. Others have told me it dried their skin out, as well.

I don't know why, but it just works to minimize breakouts and get rid of the pimples you do get within a few days. I've started and stopped using it many times because of money and you just get tired of going through the three steps day and night...but it works if you use the complete system day...
