I have never worn this mascara without making a mess of my face. My lashes stayed wet for a long time; everytime I blinked lines of mascara ended up on my face. A few hours later, the mascara started flaking off...once again another mess. I don't know know why it keeps getting rated so highly...

There may be better mascaras on the market, but for ME, Maybelline is the only mascara I use. I've tried several other brands, but always come back to Maybelline Great Lash. (Others make my eyes burn and water.) I love how easily it washes off, and it's so reasonably priced!

This is my least favorite mascara. It doesn't thicken or lengthen lashes. It smears easily, which gives an appearance of a black eye within 2 hours of applying it. It is difficult to remove therefore giving you black eyes when you wake up! The only plus to this product is its low price.

This is a very basic mascara. Doesn't make your eyelashes pop or add much volume. Nothing special but ok for everyday.
