This definitely does the job if you want a quick, easy and inexpensive home hair dye product. I personally don't think home dye jobs are ever as good as in-salon treatments, but this one works just great for a quick, fast and cheap fix to your color issues.

When another line stopped producing light ash brown, I grudgingly bought Excellence in that shade. What a huge mistake! I will never purchase again. I chose a light golden brown, which ended up being an almost dark brown near my roots, and a dark grayish-blonde near the tips. I had to go buy the cheaper brand I usually use to cover up the disaster, and it did wonderful as usual. I will never make this mistake again.
