The Ultimate Braid
For the woman who wants a wedding hairstyle that's casual, unexpected and a little bohemian, a braid is the way to go. Now, imagine kicking that braid up about a dozen notches and you have the braids from the Reem Acra show.

"Rather than accessorizing with jewelry, [Reem Acra] wanted all attention centered around the hair -- creating an unexpected piece of bridal 'jewelry,'" said DiMaggio. He used extensions to create a "structural" braid and then embellished it with diamond and pearl pins, wraps and even iron-on stars. Finally, he locked it all in place with Davines More Inside This is a Strong Hair Spray, $29.

Perfect Plum Lips
If you want to accentuate your lips on your wedding day, try a glossy plum shade like the one seen here at Carolina Herrera. It's more dramatic than pink yet more kiss-friendly than red. It also pairs perfectly with purple-spiked blush and eye shadow, and works on most skin tones.

The New Wedding Manicure
Sure you can slap on two coats of Essie Nail Polish in Blushing Bride, $8.50, and call it a day, but for a wedding manicure that's slightly more glamorous, try adding a bit of sparkle.

At Jenny Packham, nail artist Julie Kandalec used one coat of Essie Tying the Knottie (a sheer pink from the 2015 bridal collection) and topped it with Essie Set in Stones (silver glitter) and Essie Summit of Style (bronze glitter) to create an ombré effect. While full-on nail art can be too much for a wedding, this manicure is spot-on.

After the dress (and, sure, the groom), your wedding hairstyle, makeup and manicure are major decisions. While your wedding lasts only a day, you'll have your pictures forever -- and the wrong lipstick color will ruin them. No exaggeration.

Fortunately, there's no shortage of wedding beauty inspiration, and the most obvious place to look is bridal fashion week. And we got the how-to tips straight from the experts themselves. With a little imagination (and some hair extensions) you can recreate these wedding hairstyles, pretty makeup looks and manicures for your own big day. They're on trend, but classic enough that they'll never go out of style -- so you'll love those pictures until death do you part.
