NYFW Street Style 2014

Pink & Pleated
Blogger Yolande Macon of The Language of Yolande just inspired our search for the perfect hat. Macon strikes a pose outside Lincoln Center in a wide-brimmed felt hat and black tights, winterizing her blush-and-grey ensemble. Furthermore, she proves that pleated skirts aren't just for school uniforms anymore. (We're obsessed with this one from Kenzo.)

Pretty Edge
Lovely Pepa blogger Alexandra Pereira won't sacrifice pretty for edgy -- or casual for fancy for that matter. And we love it. Pereira's quilted Chanel bag and full tulle skirt from Bgo & Me, paired with a fitted motocross leather jacket and graphic tee is full-on fairy biker princess. Risky, but also purely unique success. Oh, and those sequin pumps? Pereira designed them herself. This fashionista would do Carrie Bradshaw proud.

Pret-a-porter Patriotism
Looks like Lucky magazine's Eva Chen caught Olympic fever. The editor-in-chief was spotted hustling to shows and events draped in red, white and blue in the form of an eye-catching Rebecca Minkoff vest, layered over a black Proenza Schouler turtleneck sweater for sleeves. To balance out her technicolor outerwear, she kept the rest of her outfit simple with black Levis, stacked Marc Jacobs heels and a functional Cole Haan wristlet.

Tangerine Dream
It was hard to miss Italian blogger Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad when she took the street style stage against New York's snowy white backdrop. Instead of letting the sloshy streets and drab weather put a damper on her ensemble, Ferragni stepped out in a bright, geometric Tommy Hilfiger turtleneck sweater with a flouncy mini to match, and accessorized the matching set with a bright orange Hermes kelly bag and cat-eye sunglasses by Celine. The result? A 60s-inspired look we can just as easily see Megan Draper wearing out and about in Manhattan. Is it springtime yet?

Rockstar Proper
The Ivory Lane blogger Emily Jackson is a fashion favorite of ours for her ability to masterfully mix styles. Exhibit A: this rock 'n' roll electric blue fur jacket from Diane Von Furstenberg paired with a sophisticated wide-brimmed wool hat from Eric Javits. Throw in a pair of Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots, a classic Chanel bag and Helmut Lang pants, and you have Kate Moss meets a very hip Audrey Hepburn. Street style perfection.
